The Role Lead the National Accounts Payable function in a high-volume environment, driving team performance and operational excellence. Provide hands-on leadership to a large team, including supervisors, promoting efficiency, accuracy, and proactive service delivery. Influence implementation and adoption of AP automation initiatives, including process design, user testing, and change management. Manage supplier master data maintenance, internal controls, and compliance adherence while addressing policy breaches. Drive continuous process and system enhancements to achieve best practice standards. Ensure timely processing of invoices, expense claims, reconciliations, statement resolutions, and stakeholder query handling. Support cash forecasting, monthly reconciliations, reporting, and recurring payment schedules. The Candidate Experienced leader ready to guide a busy accounts payable team in a dynamic, high-volume setting with strong emphasis on product-related processes. Proven leadership of large accounts payable teams in high-volume businesses involving tangible products/inventory. Extensive expertise in invoice processing, three-way matching, discrepancy resolution, and GR/IR variances. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills across internal and external groups. Proactive mindset with demonstrated success in process improvements and system implementations/change management. Comfortable with hands-on operational involvement, team coaching, and handling variable workloads. Organised approach with ability to maintain controls and deliver timely results.
